Raffles Hotel, Singapore
Passed through the hotel today after buying 3 new tubes of paint. Then I decided to sit down at a quiet corner near the lobby to enjoy the peace and quiet. The hotel is famed for its very lush tropical gardens and really old trees. I realised it is not so easy to capture so many shades of greens in 1 little sketch.

Sketched this while the sun was setting. I was hoping to catch the evening glow of the sunlight on the shophouse. Perhaps a bit too much blue for the sky....

Trying out my new brown ink pen bought last week. Very hot day and I could hardly open my eyes!!!
