My tribute to a young Urbansketcher from Lisbon

Today I chanced upon this clip on youtube and quickly realised that it was put together by a boy from Lisbon named Diogo. He and his family, including his dog came to join us for the 32nd Sketchcrawl on the final day of our symposium in Lisbon. He was initally very shy but finally plucked up the courage to pull out his sketchbook and sat next to me. I was thrilled to see his passion as we sketched and chatted. Through his video you can also see that he was observing everyone single of us at the sketchcrawl. I am very proud of you and here's to Diogo, our new young urbansketcher from Lisbon!

Its nearly 1am here in Lisbon. Before I go to bed, I just want to let you all know that it is been a great 1st day at the symposium. We had hot but wonderful weather, great friends, good company and an awesome city waiting for us to explore. Keep a look out for more of our updates and sketches tomorrow! Night......

My travel sketch kit for Lisbon

I am attempting to bring all these to London and Lisbon for the upcoming sketching symposium. Very excited that it is finally here. Can't wait to meet you guys in Lisbon. I am still trying to see if I can leave some stuff at home and lighten my load. Always tempting to bring more than I need.


Went out yesterday to sketch and practice. This has to be one of my favourite street store here in Hongkong. This old man makes really unique letter boxes found only in Hongkong.
